Spain – July 22, 2026– As the industry prepares for the post-summer trade fair season, Fersa is getting ready for a busy September with a clear focus: showcasing how its latest bearing developments respond to some of the most important innovation drivers in the automotive and transport sectors.

Throughout the month, Fersa will take part in two major European trade shows: Automechanika Frankfurt and IAA Transportation in Hannover. These events will provide an important opportunity to connect with customers, partners and industry professionals, while presenting solutions designed for automotive aftermarket, electric vehicle and heavy-duty applications.

Efficiency: meeting new performance expectations

Efficiency has become one of the main priorities for vehicle manufacturers, operators and distributors. Reducing consumption, improving total cost of ownership and supporting lower cost per kilometre are now key requirements across mobility and transport.

In this context, Fersa will highlight its second generation Fuel Efficient wheel end hub assemblies, one of the main product developments to be presented this September. While the first generation was designed in 2024 to meet European regulatory standards, this new generation goes further, responding to the more ambitious efficiency targets now being set by leading European manufacturers.

The Gen 2 development builds on product benchmarking and customer feedback, with improvements focused on reducing torque losses through optimised grease quantity, tighter internal geometries and advanced sealing solutions. The result supports greater efficiency without compromising the reliability required in heavy-duty applications.

Fersa will also present its Ultra Pro Series High Power Density and a range of coated bearings, reinforcing its ability to support more efficient, robust and future-ready vehicle platforms.

Electrification: supporting new mobility platforms

Electrification is another major driver shaping the future of automotive and transport applications. As vehicle architectures evolve, bearing solutions must respond to new operating conditions, including higher speeds, electrical currents, temperature variation and demanding maintenance expectations.

Fersa will bring this innovation line to the automotive aftermarket with its repair kits for electric vehicles’ drive units. Designed as a high-quality alternative to OEM-only replacements, these kits help extend the service life of battery electric vehicle drivetrains while reducing repair complexity and maintenance costs.

The solution includes advanced hybrid ceramic and insulated bearings, developed to reduce friction, enhance durability and protect against electrical discharge in electric motors and drive units. Fersa will also showcase its ranges of wheel knuckle modules and wheel end hub units, alongside other solutions for today’s evolving vehicle sector.

Reliability for demanding applications

Beyond efficiency and electrification, reliability remains a central requirement across all the markets served by Fersa. Whether in electric vehicles, commercial vehicles or heavy-duty applications, bearing solutions must perform under demanding load, speed, temperature and vibration conditions.

For heavy-duty applications, Fersa will present solutions such as the CLAC P pneumatic clutch actuator and clutch kits, developed to support vehicle reliability and performance in demanding operating environments.

These developments reflect Fersa’s commitment to supporting customers with bearing solutions that combine technical expertise, product innovation and long-term reliability.

Where to meet Fersa in September

Fersa will present these developments across two major European trade shows during September:

• Automechanika Frankfurt | September 8–12 | Hall 3.0, Stand C30

• IAA Transportation | September 15–20 | Hall 12, Stand E48

September will bring together two key events for the automotive aftermarket and heavy-duty transport sectors. From efficiency and electrification to reliability in demanding applications, these shows will provide valuable opportunities to meet the team, discover new product developments and explore future collaborations.

Whether in Frankfurt or Hannover, September will be the perfect moment to connect with Fersa and discover what is coming next in automotive and transport bearing solutions.

2026 New Week VAFEM product Recommendation:

Linear Motion Guide-LM Guide

A linear-motion bearing or linear slide is a bearing designed to provide free motion in one direction. There are many different types of linear motion bearings. Motorized linear slides such as machine slides, X-Y tables, roller tables and some dovetail slides are bearings moved by drive mechanisms. Not all linear slides are motorized, and non-motorized dovetail slides, ball bearing slides and roller slides provide low-friction linear movement for equipment powered by inertia or by hand. All linear slides provide linear motion based on bearings, whether they are ball bearings, dovetail bearings, linear roller bearings, magnetic or fluid bearings. X-Y tables, linear stages, machine slides and other advanced slides use linear motion bearings to provide movement along both X and Y multiple axis.
